THE SOUND OF MUSIC
MUSICAL THEATRE
#ABOUT THE PROJECT
Everyone knows the story of ‘The Sound of Music’ thanks to the famous 1965 film starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Production company Deep Bridge brought this classic to the Flemish theatre stage. Instead of Austrian hilltops, the story was set locally. As a result, the adaptation attracted widespread media attention and several reruns. Consequently, audiences felt instant nostalgia, as naturally as singing DO RE MI.
Our team at Broadway Productions handled post-production for a series of marketing materials. We edited trailers, promotional clips, and musical extracts. Each video was designed to capture the energy of the live performances and generate excitement for the new adaptation. In addition, we structured the edits to highlight key musical moments while keeping the pace engaging.

We worked with footage from multiple recordings. First, we organized the clips and adjusted color and lighting for a consistent visual style. Next, we refined the audio to make both vocals and instruments clear. Furthermore, we added text overlays and simple motion graphics to emphasize important points and make the content more dynamic. By applying these techniques, each video became clear, engaging, and easy to follow.
The final marketing materials captured both the nostalgia of the classic story and the freshness of the Flemish production. Moreover, they served as effective promotional tools for social media, websites, and other channels. Overall, the project helped audiences connect with the beloved tale while building excitement for this new stage version of ‘The Sound of Music’.
