Lelies

Musical

#ABOUT THE PROJECT

Lelies is a poignant musical inspired by Michel Marc Bouchard’s acclaimed play Les Feluettes. InTeam Productions brings this moving story to the stage with great care. The tale unfolds inside a Canadian prison in 1952. Then, Bishop Jean Bilodeau arrives to hear inmate Simon Doucet’s final confession. However, Simon surprises him with a bold reenactment of their shared past. Through this act, Simon forces the bishop to face old secrets. He also makes him confront hidden guilt. As a result, long-buried truths finally come to light.

The play explores a tangled love triangle set in 1912. Young Simon falls for aristocratic Vallier de Tilly. Meanwhile, the jealous Bilodeau joins their tragic story. Inside the prison chapel, inmates perform this layered drama live. They act with haunting intensity and raw emotion. As a result, themes of forbidden love and betrayal emerge strongly. Redemption also shines through the pain. The story challenges old perceptions and stirs deep emotions in everyone. InTeam Productions presents Lelies with Sam Verhoeven’s beautiful music. Niels de Valk’s sharp direction guides every scene with care. Moreover, the minimalist staging keeps the focus on raw performances. Consequently, each show touches the hearts of its audience deeply. It reminds people why these timeless themes remain relevant today.

Broadway Productions handled the full post-production for the show. Our team edited the complete stage recording with care. In addition, we created promotional videos for marketing and audience outreach. Each video captured the spirit and emotion of Lelies. We focused on keeping its emotional depth and strong visuals intact. Therefore, our work helped share the story’s impact across all media formats.
