Finale Vlaamse PhD Cup

Livestream

#ABOUT THE PROJECT

During the finales of ‘The Flemish PhD Cup’, eight young researchers present their doctoral work in just three minutes. Each talk condenses years of research into clear and engaging presentations. Moreover, the event makes science accessible to a broad audience, combining knowledge with creativity and enthusiasm.

The hybrid format allows both live and online audiences to participate. Our livestream service in Belgium ensured a smooth experience for viewers at home and in the venue. Consequently, more people could enjoy the innovative ideas shared by the finalists. Presentations included fascinating topics such as “How self-driving cars will take over the world” and “It’s time to change the legislation of intercommunal cooperation.” These talks offered unique insights into current research trends while remaining understandable for non-specialists.

Our team managed the full post-production workflow. We edited the content to create a polished and concise final product. In addition, we handled multicamera recording to capture every angle of the presentations. Color grading and audio mixing improved both clarity and visual appeal. As a result, the videos reflect the energy and professionalism of the live event.

Furthermore, we produced highlight clips and promotional materials for social media. These helped extend the event’s reach and engaged audiences who could not attend live. By combining post-production expertise with storytelling, we created content that informs, entertains, and inspires.

Ultimately, ‘The Flemish PhD Cup’ successfully showcased the talents of young researchers and made their work accessible to the public. Our role in livestreaming, recording, and editing contributed to a professional and engaging experience. Through our work, the event reached a wider audience and highlighted the relevance of research in everyday life.
