#ABOUT THE PROJECT
‘The Rocky Horror Show’ is one of the most extravagant musicals ever produced. It goes all out in story, characters, costumes, music, and overall production. Director Stany Crets transformed the cult classic into a Flemish version that is just as wild, nutty, and inappropriate as the original. The Antwerp Lotto Arena welcomed a large audience, who experienced one of the most unique musicals ever performed in Flanders. Moreover, the show highlighted the vibrant and ambitious musical scene in Belgium.
To give fans an inside look, we filmed behind the scenes. We captured rehearsals, photoshoots, and key preparation moments. In addition, we recorded interviews with cast and crew, providing insight into the work behind the production. We were also on the front row during the premiere. This allowed us to film both the energetic stage performances and the audience’s reactions.
The footage was edited to maintain the natural pace and energy of the show. We applied color grading and adjusted the audio to make sure music and vocals were clear. Furthermore, simple motion graphics were added to emphasize key moments and enhance clarity for viewers.
The resulting videos give fans a closer look at ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ while highlighting the scale and energy of the production. They also serve as a record of the performances and provide context for the creative process. Overall, the project documented the show’s originality, the cast’s work, and the high production standards of Belgian musicals.
