#ABOUT THE PROJECT
Under the direction of Dirk Decloedt and performer Filip Jordens, Music Hall paid tribute to Jacques Brel with ‘Je m’appelle Jacques Brel’ at Forest National. Jordens delivered an extraordinary performance, singing 19 of Brel’s songs together with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra. The mix of live music and emotional storytelling created an unforgettable evening for the audience.
The stage visuals added even more depth to the performance. Photos and videos of Brel appeared throughout the show and enhanced the atmosphere. Our video editing company blended these images with care, ensuring every transition felt smooth and natural. As a result, the audience experienced a stronger emotional connection to Brel’s life and legacy.
In addition to filming the concert, we also captured the creative process. We documented rehearsals, backstage moments, and spontaneous interactions between cast and crew. These behind-the-scenes clips highlighted the dedication and joy behind the production.
Finally, we produced trailers and promotional videos that extended the show’s impact far beyond the theatre. By combining live performance with rehearsal highlights, the content felt authentic and engaging. Moreover, it allowed the tribute to reach new audiences and keep Brel’s spirit alive.
